scott sherk I built this simple m/s decoder box from plans that Mark Griswald posted on his site at http://www.pugetsoundman.com/articles/MSheadphone.htm . Mark was very helpful in answering questions. For instance, he clarified for me that the (+), (-) 9 V is connected to pins on the IC that are assumed in the schematic, but explicit in the IC pinout at http://www.national.com/pf/TL/TL082.html .
